Basic HowTo
This basic HowTo will guide you through the initial setup of a DART based system. It is intended for those who want to bootstrap a system from scratch. Starting with a DART install package (about 10MB), you will use a stock Debian-Live ISO to create a bootable DART ISO. This guide assumes you are comfortable with your choosen PC setup (bare metal, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.), and that you are familiar with using fdisk & mkfs on the Linux command line.
You will download a stock Debian-Live ISO (burn it to a DVD or USB for bare metal PCs), and boot your PC with it. Then you will partition & format the drive on the PC from the stock Debian-Live environment. Finally, you will download & run a set of scripts to turn the newly partitioned hard drive into a DART distibution PC. When finished, you should be able to boot the PC without the ISO. This PC will be your central repository. From this PC, you will setup projects, create development PCs, and ultimately create Debian-Live DART based ditribution ISOs of your projects.

Quickstart HowTo
This quickstart HowTo will setup a DART Distribution PC. This guide assumes you are comfortable with your choosen PC setup (bare metal, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.), and that you have blank (unpartitioned) storage attached and ready to be formatted.
You will download a DART Distibution ISO (burn it to a CD or USB for bare metal PCs), and boot your PC with it. Then you will use a browser to setup & configure the new PC. When finished, you should be able to boot the PC without the ISO. This PC will be your central repository. From this PC, you will setup projects, create development PCs, and ultimately create Debian-Live DART based ditribution ISOs of your projects.
